  • What is Rely?

    Rely is a third-party payment method that lets you to buy what you want today and pay in three payments, due every month.

     

    It's a great budgeting tool for people who loves to shop but afraid of ending up with mountains of debt or maxing out their credit cards.

     

    Use it to get the best deals during the sale season and have the flexibility to split your payments over the coming months. Or get that bulk purchase deal and pay it in 3 payments.

  • Who can use Rely?

    Rely is available to everyone who:

    ·         Lives in Singapore

    ·         is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR

    ·         is at least 21 years old

    ·         Has a source of income

    ·         Has a locally issued debit card to make the purchase

    Note: the service is currently not available for foreigners working in Singapore.


  • How do I sign up with Rely?

    When you are making a payment at SGshop, choose Rely as your payment method at checkout. Follow the steps to set up your account and complete your purchase.

  • Is there a cost to pay with Rely?

    While checking-out at SGshop and choosing Rely to split into three payments, there will be transaction fee of 5.8% + $0.50.

     

    Late fees apply only when you have not made the payment before the due date, you will incur a fixed late payment fee of for each late payment. (This fee may be from $5 to $40 dollars depending on your order amount)

  • How long does it take to activate my account?

    When you activate your account for the first time, it may take 1 working day to approve your account. Once approved, you will receive your payments limit of up to $1000.

     

    Any purchases within your payments limit will be instantly approved!

  • Is Rely safe and secure?

    We understand how important security is so we ensure that your personal information is protected and will never sell your data.

  • How do I use Rely?

    You can submit purchase order or delivery order today and pay in 3 payments, due every month.

    1. Choose Rely as your payment method at checkout

    First-time shoppers provide their details to activate their Rely account, while existing users login to make their purchase. It’s simple!

     

    2. Split into 3 payments

    Split your purchase amount into 3 payments, due every month. You pay the first payment today with your debit card and the rest later.

     

    3. Take it home

    Once your transaction is approved by Rely, your order will be processed as usual. No additional waiting times.

  • When is my first payment due?

    You will be required to make your first payment at the time of order submission.

    If your purchase is $300 and payable in 3 payments of $100. The first payment of $100 has to be made at the time of purchase. The next payment is due the following month.

  • How much can I spend with Rely?

    Once your account is activated, you will receive a limit of up to $1,000. This is maximum amount you can spend using your Rely account.

     

    When you spend, you use up your limit (limit decreases).

    Limit: $800

    Available limit: $800

    Spend: $600

     

    Available limit: $200

     

    When you make payments on your due date, your limit is returned (limit increases)

    Limit: $800

    Available limit: $200

    Paid: $200

     

    Available Limit: $400

  • Can I purchase more than my payments limit?

        

    Your payment limit gives a good guide to ensure that you would be able to afford the payments. As Rely strive to ensure users are responsible spenders, you would not be able to spend beyond your payments limit.

     

    TIP. When you regularly make payments before your due date, your payments limit on Rely will be increased.

  • Why was my payment declined?

    Rely does not approve 100% of payments. When determining which payment to approve, they consider several different factors that helps them make the decision. Rely strive to support responsible spending habits of our users, these are some factors to consider that may increase your chances.

    ·         do you enough balance in your debit card to pay the first payment?

    ·         does your total order amount exceed your available limit?

    ·         does the amount you have to pay exceed your income. It might not be a good idea buy an item and pay $1000 each month when your income is $500.

    ·         have you been a responsible spender? If you make payments before your due date regularly, that's a good start!

    ·         have you been overspending?

    If you have any enquiries regarding declined payment, please contact Rely for further clarification.

  • I wish to return entire or part of my purchase order.

    In the case of returning purchase order under Buy-For-Me and SmartShop services, the amount will be credited back into your SGshop account balance. However, kindly note that the transaction fee will not be refunded. 

    You can opt to withdraw the balance in order to cancel/refund your transaction with Rely, partially or fully. Rely will refund your previous payment, and offset the upcoming payment, if applicable.

  • Did not receive my order/wrong item.

    You will be compensated accordingly, kindly state your collection ID or order ID, and describe the situation and please take a photograph of the item and packaging (including barcode) to us via aftersales@sgshop.com, our customer care team will be happy to help. The compensation will be credited into your SGshop account balance if applicable.

  • Why am I still being charged when I have returned the purchase order?

    For Buy-For-Me and SmartShop order, even if your purchase order has been returned to sellers, the refund amount will be credited into your SGshop account balance, NOT into your Rely account. However, kindly note that the transaction fee will not be refunded.

    In order to cancel/refund your transaction with Rely, partially or fully, you must submit withdrawal from SGshop account balance, our finance department will then apply refund to Rely on your behalf. Rely will refund your previous payment, and offset the upcoming payment, if applicable.

  • Can request refund once make the International Shipping Payment?

    No. We are unable to proceed refund as the parcel will be processing to load into cargo and arranged to International Logistic Company once the International Shipping (2nd Payment) made.

  • How do I make payments?

    First Payment (deducted at time of purchase)

    Your first payment for each transaction will be deducted automatically from your Visa or Mastercard debit card.

     

    Subsequent Payments

    You can make payment to Rely via PayNow or Bank Transfer. Rely currently do not accept debit card payment for Subsequent Payments.

    1. Login to bank's iBanking Portal and select PayNow

    2. Select send to Unique Entity Number (UEN)

    3. Enter 201625839R

    4. You should see Rely Pte Ltd as the entity name

    5. Enter the amount you wish to pay

    6. Pay!

  • Can I pay early?

    Yes, you can. Paying to Rely early before your payment due date helps you spend responsibly. There are no additional fees if you pay early.

  • Why have I been charged a late fee?

    You have been charged a late fee as your payment was not received by the payment due date. If you pay before the due date, there are no fees!

  • Can I change the payment due date?

    Pay Early

    If you want to move the payment due date to an earlier date, you can simply make payment to Rely earlier without a requirement to change the payment due date.

     

    No Extend Payment Date

    We are unable to change the payment schedule once it has been approved. If you are having problems making payment on the due date, please contact Rely.

  • My payment was not updated. What happen?

    Payment via your own Bank Transfer or PayNow

    If you made a bank transfer or PayNow transfer from your own bank account. (Account is under your name). There might be a slight delay on our end. Please wait for 1-2 working day for the payment to be reflected in your Rely account.

     

    Payment from other Bank Account

    If you made payment from another bank account that is not your own. (e.g from your Husband's bank account). Please send the receipt to support@rely.sg

  • What happens if my debit card is lost or stolen?

    If you card is lost or stolen, you can update or add a new card to your Rely account.

     

    To update or add a new card, follow these steps.

    1.    Login to your Rely account at www.rely.sg

    2.    Go to Profile

    3.    Add Card

  • Why I can’t login to Rely?

    If you forgot your password, please head to our login page and click the 'forget password' link to reset your password.

  • My Rely account has been suspended

    Your Rely account may be suspended due to various reasons such as suspected fraud, improper usage and overdue payments. Please contact Rely.
